2009-2010 Seattle event schedule

2009 Burning Man event schedule (archive)

21 May 2010: Tribal Instincts
Suspended Animation will be teaching So You Want To Tie People Up for the May meeting of Tribal Instincts. The class will run from 7:30 to 10:00 PM at the Lifelong AIDS Alliance. You can download the promotional flyer here; we recommend printing it out, framing it, and hanging it on your living room wall. Please note that this event requires male ID.

19 May 2010: Whump Playshop at the Center for Sex Positive Culture
We'll be teaching an abbreviated version of our So You Want To Tie People Up class at the Whump Playshop at the CSPC. The class will run from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM and will be followed by some demos and perhaps a few bondage rides during the Whump. You can download the limited edition flyer here.

1 May 2010: Seattle Erotic Art Festival
We're back at the Seattle Erotic Art Festival this year. Unfortunately, there isn't room for our suspension truss in this year's floor layout, but we'll be doing decorative bondage and floor bondage during the after party from midnight to 4 AM.

7 November 2009: SeaCompression
Suspended Animation will be returning to SeaCompression this year with our popular mix of performances and bondage rides. We're particularly fond of working at SeaCompression because it's held in an old aircraft hangar. Why does that matter, you ask? It matters because the ceiling is ridiculously high. We'll be rigging from a 24-foot drop, which allows us to do all kinds of crazy things that simply aren't possible in most venues. If you ask nicely, maybe we'll even do those crazy things to you.

SeaCompression is Seattle's official Burning Man decompression event. It features music, dancing, art, fire, and a number of mini theme camps. The event's official website is still under construction, but should be finished soon.

5 July 2009: So You Want To Tie People Up!
We're thrilled to be teaching our introductory bondage class, So You Want To Tie People Up!, at the Center for Sex Positive Culture in Seattle as part of Max's Bondage Workshops series.

We'll cover a few simple but versatile techniques that can be adapted to pretty much any mischief your heart desires. The main focus of the class, though, will be on figuring out what you want from bondage, and how to make it happen. Once we've covered the basic techniques, we'll explore several different positions, each of which is appropriate for a particular style of play.

The class runs from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the CSPC

You can get all the details on Max's website.

5 July 2009: Bondage Is The Point
Curious where you can run into us? The CSPC (also known as the Wet Spot) in Seattle hosts a monthly bondage event on the first Sunday of every month, and many of our crew are in regular attendance. (Note: membership is required to attend CSPC parties. If you want to attend, drop us a line at info -at- suspendedanimationcrew -dot- com and we may be able to arrange for you to attend as our guest.)

For some of the best rope bondage instruction you may ever experience, Max (of bondagelessons.com) presents a series of workshops held in afternoon before the monthly rope parties. Membership is not required for the workshops, and you get a discount from the party admission later that night.
