This intensive two weekend series will not only teach you how to safely suspend your partner, but will give you the mastery to do so with confidence and style. There are no prerequisites for this series.

We believe that good suspension begins with technical excellence. You’ll come out of the class with rock-solid fundamental skills, and a deep understanding of the principles behind them.

We wrote the book on it

Our class text is an extensive, beautifully illustrated online book that we’ve been working on for the past six years. It is a great learning tool as well as a valuable reference once you graduate.

Learn from experts

Every class features a 4:1 ratio of students to expert instructors (not TAs). You’ll learn technical skills in tiny groups, and will have extensive hands-on feedback and advice during practice sessions.

FTGU requires significant student commitment, but we are confident that there’s no better way to learn suspension.
